Launched in 2018, Baby’s First Years (https://www.babysfirstyears.com/) is an interdisciplinary, mixed methods study examining the causal impact of monthly, unconditional cash gifts to low-income mothers and their children in the first three years of children’s lives. The study will identify whether reducing poverty can affect early childhood development and the family processes that support children’s development. We seek highly motivated post-doctoral candidates in related fields to apply for postdoctoral funding to work with a principal investigator of the study, through an NIH administrative supplement. The candidates must meet the NIH’s specified eligibility as a member of an under-represented group in the health-related sciences.
